Day 1
· Meet & Greet by a Portugal Travel Team representative
· Transfer from Porto to Lisbon in deluxe air conditioned motor coach
· 2 nights accommodation BB at Hotel Pestana Palace *****
· Half Day Lisbon City Tour to the most impressive historical parts of Lisbon: Edward 7th Park, Liberty Avenue, Rossio Square, the Quarter of Alfama with its unique Cathedral that dates back to the 12th Century, its narrow streets that remember the Moorish occupancy and the Castle of St George. Blackhorse square - an immense square that brings downtown to the Tagus River.
Following this you go to the most historical quarters of Lisbon - The Discoveries Quarter of Belem, from which the Portuguese Caravels sailed off to the epic maritime discoveries. Once at Belem you will visit The Jerónimos Monastery and The Tower of Belem - whose origins date back to the 16th Century, both considered as World Heritage, and represent the most luxurious and prestigious times of the Portuguese Monarchy.
· Before leaving Belem, time for a visit to the "Pasteis de Belém" - Pastry Shop to taste the delicious and traditional "Pastel de Nata", served warm with sugar and cinnamon on top. (coffee beak in the pastry shop not included )
· Dinner at Fado Restaurant Casa de Linhares Bacalhau de Molho with wine included. Situated in the foundations of the Casa dos Condes de Linhares, what remains of an renascent building that fell into ruins with the 1755 earthquake, the room presents the whole structure of the time when it was constructed: vaults in clergyman's cap, with the height of seven meters, built in red- brick and supported by stone columns, where there is an out standing fireplace of great dimensions.
Day 2
· After this visit departure on the way to Sintra, a charming village classified as World Heritage. Sintra, was the delirium of many writers and poets in the 18th Century and also the summer residence of the Portuguese Royal Family. A visit to the Royal Palace with its fabulous kitchen and chimneys, and the finest collection of “Mugdejar” tiles in Portugal. Take some time to walk around the narrow streets of Sintra, full of small shops selling Portuguese tiles and ceramics, the walk itself is like walking back in time.
Departure on the way to Guincho beach and lunch at Mar do Guincho Restaurant with a magnificent view overlooking the Atlantic.
· After lunch time to visit Cascais & Estoril and some free time around the center.
· Lunch at Restaurant Mar do Guincho with wines included
Day 3
· Breakfast in hotel.
